Letter from Dannion Brinkley included

Brinkley told his story to the Dallas audience of The Eclectic Viewpoint in November, 1992. By popular demand, he is returning to give the highlights of his Near Death Experience (NDE), as well as additional information he didn't have time to relate in the previous lecture. He will be bringing to the meeting with him the Klini, a special chair developed from information he obtained while on the other side. The Klini facilitates stress reduction, astral travel, and the feeling one would experience at the time of death when the spirit leaves the physical body.

Joan Rivers used the Klini on one of her television programs in September, 1992, as she visited with Dannion and Dr. Raymond Moody at the Theatre of the Mind in Anniston, Alabama. While using the chair, she was able to visit her daughter's apartment in California and also felt that she had contact with her deceased husband.

For those who missed the original newsletter in November, 1992, about Dannion Brinkley and his NDE, the following is a reprint of that article. (Also included is an open letter to members of The Eclectic Viewpoint from Dannion.)

Dannion Brinkley, an ex-marine and defense contractor who designs, builds, and sells anti-eavesdropping equipment and other technologies to the U.S. Government, will describe the experience he had while in a near-death state. Brinkley recalls that a "being of light" appeared and told him that he must return as he had a special mission to complete. Brinkley was given a list of seven components that he was to use in developing a new machine and therapy to heal stress.

Brinkley was also told of many things to come in the future. Of the 117 predictions he heard from this "light-being," 95 have come to pass at this time.

In addition, the experience left Brinkley clairvoyant (the ability to see beyond ordinary perception) and he often knows what is going to happen in the lives of people he meets. He says, "It is as though I am inside of them looking out, feeling their fears and anxieties as much as their hopes and aspirations." Many times when he is giving a presentation, he becomes aware of someone in the audience who is in need of help and he will have a special message for them.

Brinkley has been in great demand in recent months helping many people who are ill and approaching death learn in advance how to leave their bodies voluntarily by a technique he has devised with Dr. Raymond Moody in a laboratory known as the Theatre of the Mind. Dr. Moody, an M.D. and professor, is well known for his studies of the Near Death Experience and author of many works such as Life After Life, Reflections on Life After Life, The Light Beyond, Coming Back, and his latest, Reunions.

In an appearance on The Joan Rivers Show, Brinkley (with Dr. Moody) used the Klini, a special chair developed from information obtained during his NDE, to help Ms. Rivers travel astrally to her daughter's apartment in California.At the invitation of Boris Yeltsin, Dr. Moody and Dannion Brinkley, referred to as Dr. Death and Lightning Boy, presented a week of lectures at the University of Moscow. Dr. Moody's book, Reflections on Life After Life, is dedicated to Dannion Brinkley.

Brinkley will discuss many of his experiences as well as those reported by others having an NDE. He says that every feeling and thought he had ever had, every person he had ever known, and how his interactions with them had affected their lives was flashed before him. In a nonjudgmental way, the light being helped him realize that only deeds performed from the motivation of love for others are important.

Feeling that his mission is almost completed, Brinkley is certain that he will soon be making a permanent transition to the next life, an event to which he is looking forward with great expectation.

Hello People of The Eclectic Viewpoint:

Although we've been apart, you're still very much in my heart. From the boxes and boxes of cards and letters, and phone calls, I know I'm still in your hearts. For this, I'm very thankful.

This last year has been like most years, in that I almost died a couple of times (ha ha) and I almost lived a couple of times.

The good news is that I am finally going to bring you the predictions and source materials I promised. I intend to give you a full report on all of the events of the past year, including my research with Dr. Moody and the Psychomanteum that deals with spirit communications; Moody's latest book, Reunions; and an update on my new book, Saved by the Light, published by Villard Books.

I plan to do an overview of my last lecture with new material added for those of you who haven't heard it, plus I will be including new information discovered over the past year while researching methods for experiencing aspects of the NDE without having to die for it.

I will be discussing OBEs, making spirit contact via a scrying booth, and astral travel. I will be bringing some of the equipment we are using in the Centers (Psychomanteum), including the "Klini" named in honor of the bed used in The Temples of Asklepios for dream incubation.

I plan to discuss what the Centers will be about, how they will operate, and how they relate to the oracles of ancient times, such as the oracle of the Dead in Greece and the Oracle of Delphi in Greece and Rome.
